What makes Augment’s training unique? All training packages are developed by people with experience of mental health challenges combined with the knowledge and experience the organisation has in delivering successful recovery orientated services.
Who is the training for?
The training is for service users, staff members and volunteers that would like to take their first step on their recovery journey.
What will participants learn?
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
· Describe how you take risks in everyday life.
· Pinpoint the differences between positive and negative language and the pro’s and con’s of each.
· Differentiate between a maintenance approach and a moving forward approach.
· Identify five ways in which self stigma can affect your everyday life.
You will also learn valuable tools to use to protect your mental health. You will learn new skills that are useful in every part of your life

What happens on an Augment Recovery Training session?
The course takes six hours and is usually run in one full day, though this can be adjusted to meet your need’s , for example, two half day sessions.
The training will be delivered using a variety of different methods, and will be fun and interactive. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the training.
