LGBT VOX launches new Mental Health Survey
VOX is a national mental health service user lead organisation promoting the voice of people with a lived experience. If you are a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender person interested in improving LGBT peoples experiences of Mental Health services than this group and survey may be of interest to you.
The LGBT VOX group has developed an online survey for LGBT people who have a lived experience of mental health problems. The survey is part of a wider objective that will help develop guidelines for health professionals based on LGBT peoples lived experience of mental health problems. To take part in the survey visit: www.surveymonkey.com/s/WFR8RQL and for more information on the group visit: www.voxscotland.org.uk/lgbt-group
The group will be holding several focus group meetings across Scotland later on this year so please contact us on 0141 572 1663 or email: mal-gailani@mhf.org.uk if you would like to be involved in the groups work. Due to limitations on questions we were unable to include the following ethnicity question but would like to urge participants to send us their answer to help us complete the picture and improve services for people from all ethnic backgrounds and identities.
